Job Description

Reputable litigation plaintiff law firm is seeking a docketing clerk that will be responsible for managing litigation calendaring and docketing across state and federal courts. Key duties include reviewing legal documents to calculate deadlines, maintaining accurate docket reports, monitoring rule changes, and communicating critical dates to attorneys and legal staff. The position requires 3-5 years of litigation docketing experience, strong knowledge of court rules and procedures, proficiency with docketing software and PACER, exceptional attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. An associate degree is required; a bachelor's degree is preferred, though extensive docketing experience may substitute for formal education.

TOP THREE THINGS:

  1. 3-5 years of litigation docketing experience in a law firm setting.
  2. Strong knowledge for both state and federal court rules, deadlines and procedures.
  3. Proficient with MS office suite, PACER, or Compulaw or Aderant preferred.

Standard hours: 9:00AM-5:30PM
